Tonight Essendon ruckman Todd Goldstein passed the 10,000 career hit out mark. The first ruckman ever to get there.
Think he deserves recognition for this, the nearest ruckman Sandilands only got to 8502 and the next best active player is Gawn with 3000 less hit outs.

Welcome to the big fella.
Now to get his teammate officially in.
Calls for a Spandau Ballet singalong.
As I understand it, Ben Cunnington is contracted for next year so unless he decides to quit at the end of the year, he will be on the list in 2024. Not sure what the situation is with Liam Shiells is but his form has probably been good enough for an extension.
Potentially none of these may...
Turns 31 years of age in a month coming off a big contract so set to take a massive pay cut even if he leaves.
He has gone on record saying he think he can play up to 5 more years (honestly think he only has another 2-3 at a decent level)
As a free agent I reckon a club in need of a ruck that...
...jynx Grundys remaining games), i thought i’d see what others thought.
I think its extremely close, and Grundys atleast been as good as Goldstein in 2015. The North supporter rated Goldsteins 2015 a league above Grundys 2018.
With Grundy being more of an accumulater and Goldstein finding...
Seriously, he's basically a walking Outback Jack's. I'm surprised Hawkins hasn't tried to have a nibble when they've walked past each other.
What an obscure looking creature. It's like he's pilfered the chromosomes of a dugong.
Sorry Todd, but the reality is old chap you'd fit right in at...
...wrong as the opinions almost unanimously voiced by the LFFL coaching fraternity, particularly its North members, following amos' Todd Goldstein draft selection. Ridiculed to the point that the even amos' arch enemy, WAG, jumped in to support, Goldstein looms as more than a 'supporting...
Id have posted it on Norths page, but you know, banned haha. But Im assuming their will be 0 interest by rival clubs for either of our players. Goldy helps our ruck stocks, Tippet helps North's fwd stocks. Problem is both side want to clear their salaries but I doubt any other team will take...
The Goldstein Preuss issue will be a big story in 2017.
Preuss is ahead of schedule and pushing best 22, whilst goldy can't play with another ruckman.
We all know how good Goldy can be, at his best he is the best ruckman in the Comp. he is getting older now, and as we look forward should we be...
Just said on Triple M that Goldstein said to have put himself on the market. Where's a good fit?
I'd like him at the Swans so Buddy and Tipp can be the dynamic duo in the forward line.
Both players had or have had their career best seasons in the respected years. Goldy was recognize as such with AA selection in the ruck which Gawn is almost certainly going to claim this year.
However who had the better season? The 2015 version of Goldy? or the 2016 version of Gawn?
0.0% of current AFL coaches would select Todd Goldstein in their team if they had the choice. This ranks Todd Goldstein as the worst current player in the AFL as decided by the AFL coaches.
This means he is worse than Jack Silvagni
Group statement below:
'This has been by far the most challenging few weeks in our professional lives. We understood cognitively that we were facing a crossroads in our evolution as players and as men, and that it came with exceptionally difficult choices. What we didn’t truly understand...
What a bizarre rucking duel that was.
One bloke absolutely dominant in terms of hitouts and giving his midfield first use, so the other decides to push forward and kicks five to go with his 20 touches.
Both scored 172 SC and you could make an argument for either to be BOG.
