It has been reported that Barrass:
is contracted for 3 more years at $750,000 per year
is seeking a 2 year extension from from the Eagles
has been offered $3M over a “long number of years” (presumably 5 years, being 3+2) by the Bulldogs.
Would think it’s likely the Eagles come to the party...
Getting ready for Tribunal watch for Good Bloke Barrass.
I mean he's got it all.
Premierships
All-Australian Squad
B + F
Community Work with the McGovern Foundation and the Wanderer Program
Sure he may not have hit 200 games yet, but the flag surely makes up for it.
and if not, Can you...
The West Australian is reporting that the Eagles have a fight to keep him at the club despite being contracted through 2027.
He's a WA boy so there's no go home factor, starting price would surely involve a 1st rounder. Maybe the Bulldogs?
Toasting of Barrass game. Had a lot of negatives this season. But sometimes you got to raise a toast when it's due especially since we haven't had many players this season's with exceptional games. Although this one was exactly that. A best on ground performance from Barrass I've never heard of...

Barrass 196cm Viney 185cm gets a solid shoulde to his jaw and ruled out with the concussion test at half time.
Then pretty much the media outlets...
If there's another thread around can this.
Otherwise can we talk about how good he is ? And how good he can be? I'm gonna say he can be better than gov.
I'm not sure how to structure this post other than to say pick 44 for Tom was an absolute steal. He just looks like he knows how to defend. 200 game player easily.
We can build the backline around Barrass and McGovern.
It seems like Tom Barrass has got to a stage where he is playing well at WAFL each week. Barrass is highly rated by the club and fans but at 20(turning 21) and in his third season he would be be in the best 22 in a lot clubs. Last season an under an done barrass was brought into the side and...
Yep the Eagles have done it again...this kid will be be the next Chris Masten. What a beast.
By the way, that's him on the right. Impressive looking specimen huh?
