You missed the part where Smif and FOS turned up in there new team colours and ran rings around our duds playing keepings off. Richmond staff tried to chase them around Punt Road Benny Hill style to get the ball back.
...slipped on a discarded banana peel and all did acls, this gave the mids nam flashbacks and they all dropped to the ground and started commando crawling towards ho chi ming city, forwards were sucked into some kind of time vortex created when sethcampbell did his twelfth backflip of the day.
SethCampbell has a spot as amid/forward all set up for him. Like what he does. i hope he take sit with both hands and goes strong. He would really help our structure and depth.
But expecting him to step right into good AFL level this year is maybe too much. If he can show that he can develop...
Played midfield his entire juniors. Up until he made the NAB league where he spent time more as a forward with his nous around goals. High half forward and midfield rotations were most of that time, and his talent definitely suits him being a midfielder who can rotate forward with damage.
Averaged 19 possessions in 13 NAB games playing high half forward and midfield, so considering his position they are good enough numbers.
Main thing is he has the ability to pick the ball up and nip off at speed, something we don't have. I would think he and the coaches has been concentrating...
Nice to read a training report recently that noted Seth had more time around the ball. We definitely need to find players to compliment the mud runners in Taranto / Hopper etc and Campbell appears to have the speed, endurance and skills to make it.
Having said that, does anyone know if the kid...
...our team and our club and I think he's doing a really good job at the moment under the circumstances he's facing."
Rising half-forward SethCampbell racked up plenty of midfield minutes in the "A" team, alongside Tim Taranto and Jacob Hopper, while Samson Ryan, Thomson Dow, Tom Brown, James...
...one of whom may not have otherwise played if Graham did. If he was going to play HF I'd much rather play Lalor and SethCampbell every week. We're okay for leaders, and the difference is he can impart facets of our dynasty culture (of which he was a big part of) to your club, we already have...
Where to play Campbell? the only game I caught ~ ground zero. He was our only forward to be able to manage the wind A couple of great forward craft marks and excellent goal kicking. The team kicked 9 goals a game last year, average, we lost Bolton, Baker, Martin .
Leave Campbell at half fwd...
Rioli just looked good individually at half back but had **** all influence on our results. Easily best on visually in our last game but we got smashed by Gold Coast. The issue is the ball moves faster in the air. A long penetrating kick from Short at half back is far more likely to catch the...
SethCampbell?
Been on the list 2 years and played no games in his first.
Not saying he'll be a bad player but his exposed form doesn't scream elite just yet.
Campbell is be a regular and has improved every year.
There's heaps of potential improvement on our list.
We'll just have to wait and see what happens.
Gibcus and Brown need to prove they can get over their horrid run of injuries before anything else.
Rioli's ok.
What's SethCampbell done to think he'll be any more than a role-player at best?
This is what we are trying to replace with Rioli scuttling off the sinking ship.
I base this off Daniels last three seasons where he played solely as a hb.
games - 69. He hardly missed a beat.
Disposal - 21.49.
Tackles - 2.91.
Rebound - 3.44.
Inside/50 - 2.40
con/poss - 5.66
Marks -...
Someone will pop and surprise hopefully - last season Matt Roberts popped out a 91 when $245k, Howes ($200k) at Melb dropped a handy 74, SethCampbell ($200k) gave us a 61.
Cadman ($221k) and McMullin ($200k) gave a paltry 47 each, Windsor ($282k) a 45, etc etc (a few others)
This year will...
So, if big sexy is injured we are stuffed? I'm glad that he is still around to help the younger forwards develop.
Remember a few posters over the trade period saying we should have traded him as well LMAO
...of)
Blight and Miller defensively strong. Blight struggled a little on Lynch initially but lifted and killed some contests really well.
SethCampbell did some stunning defensive stuff, tackles, smothers and was clean once he got the ball.
Fawcett who struggled a little last Friday got far...
Jasper comes across as a good wholesome kid …very respectful…seems to be stoked to be living out his dreams at the club he loves….you know he will leave no stone unturned.
Seth….cant wait to get a Weber so I can learn how to cook ……steak….steak steak…
RFC needs a Tasman Butchers sponsorship...
