Most overrated player in the AFL currently?

Started very strong with English but lost your way badly quickly Semi agree with Parish, King would be good if he could get on the park. And noone rates McCartin to begin with

Most overrated player in the AFL currently?

Wowsers. You got some good players in there. Are you saying they're just overrated or you don't rate them at all? I would say english, Lewis, Rankine, butters, Rowell are atleast above average players and will have/have had long careers. The rest I can see an argument for.

Most overrated player in the AFL currently?

Jeepers. I rate Rankine but needs more consistency. Wardlaw could be an absolute bull

    Training 2025 Pre-season

I just haven't particularly loved what I've seen of Francis at AFL level (although to his credit, I've never thought him detrimental to our senior back-line when he's played there. He seems to slot in from a group perspective without much fuss.) Edwards & Snell I'm extremely bullish about, but...

    Training 2025 Pre-season

...the game” from the defence of the main side, as Dane Rampe, Lewis Melican and Nick Blakey attempted to slow down the pace of the play. Tom McCartin had some nice moments ahead of the ball as he develops his forward craft. His best involvements came when he could outmuscle his opponent, with...

Unofficial Preview SEASON 2025 - Best 22, Game Plan, Personnel

Interesting. I don't mind the idea of Tom replacing Amartey but not either McDonald (roaming) or McLean (rucking) but it requires Edwards or Snell being up to scratch to take his place. Mills must play mids. ✅ Green is not ready. Also more in game spelling will help and will make better use of...

Three positional swaps ever club should be eyeing this season GET THE BEST MARKER AT FULL-FORWARD Tom McCartin’s move up the field has been floated to help McDonald, McLean and Amartey; still big wraps on Jack Buller. CALLUM’S CRACK ON BALL Around the stoppages, he could form an elite...

    List Mgmt. Contracts/Trade/Draft Thread - 2025 Edition

I don’t think either of these are likely to happen, but be great if it did. The Swans did but look at their midfield and i50s against compared to ours and what happens when they come up against a strong, pressure midfield. Jobe and Archer would be a waste in defence, for me they are our KPFs...

...or Barnett have good years as KPDs, Maric shows aptitude at playing a 3rd tall sort of role, and Archer/Shanahan start to train back there then along with HEdwards we have enough. The Swans made a grand final with Tom McCartin and some random fringe player as a KPD, we dont need 2 very...

Unofficial Preview SEASON 2025 - Best 22, Game Plan, Personnel

This is a real concern. Tom is a better mark and is much better at ground level than all three of the current tall forwards but also it might be too much robbing Peter. I still like the idea of Edwards (or Snell but see that as less likely) progressing and allowing Tom to play the interceptor...
