Ollie Murphy 200cm KPD Fremantle from the Dragons 22 Premiership Team, Vic Metro & Team of the Year…
Played 10 games for Peel last season then missed back half due to a abdominal injury, stuck behind some very good talls…
He would have by the end of the year two seasons under his belt, would...
Some excellent names there, we/I would love on the list. Realistically, with the drafting of HOF, moving JSOS back, adding Haynes and having the luxury of swinging Kemp back as well as Lewis Young, who I remain amazed can’t work with Weiters, we have enough short term options. Quality costs both...
If we had the option of these KPDs at the end of the year in a trade who would everyone be taking?
Sam De Koning
BrennanCox
Leek Aleer
Jake Lever
Ben Miller
Jack Payne
Jordan Butts
Tylar Young
Jacob Blight
Josh Draper
Zach Reid
Or would you be more inclined to wait a couple of years for...
...Clark and Corey Wagner went up against Jye Amiss, Josh Treacy, Michael Frederick, Sam Switkoswki, Cooper Simpson and Luke Jackson.
BrennanCox (personal reasons) and Heath Chapman (managed) were both in the rehab group while Oscar McDonald switched into the purple backline when Pearce...
...He’s also going to probably be a lot better in 2025.
I personally think Draper so far anyway, projects to be a better player than BrennanCox. I think he’s a much better player at 20/21 than Cox was at that age.
It’s a great situation for us really. I hope we pick the best player on merit...
We're in the second half of the draft now, and with pick sixteen we get ball 22 so BrennanCox gets to s_wd6!
Ball number 16 goes at pick number seventeen, meaning Freo Shark is the buddy of Oscar McDonald!
With the eighteenth pick we get to ball 21. That's you BeinPurplenGreen, you've got...
...rival interest from Victoria.
The Dockers already have midfielder Hayden Young signed on the league’s longest contract, until 2033, BrennanCox, Josh Treacy and Sean Darcy until 2030 and new recruit Shai Bolton until 2029.
Serong says Brayshaw is still as intent as anyone on bringing the...
A watched pot never boils. I’m out of here (for a while).
Even gone to the effort of putting his team in positions. A bit small and in need of a second ruck.
Has BrennanCox, Nic Cox, perhaps M….
We need PurpleEyes to revisit their games played/average age theory from a couple years back. We look to be heading right into our sweet spot especially with so many of these having played their careers together. The synergy is only continuing to grow.
To me there is a clear best 20, their average age and games are 24.6 years and 85 games. A young core on the precipice

I think it’s worth asking whether there’s a massive difference between McDonald vs. Davies in 14 months (ie start of 2026 season).
If there isn’t going to be then it’s an easy decision.
Quite frankly I don’t think there’s enough of a difference now that it’d lose us many games we’d win...
Alex Pearce - 2025
BrennanCox - 2030
Josh Draper - 2027
Oscar McDonald - 2025
Luke Ryan out of position - 2027
Hugh Davies - 2026
Ollie Murphy - 2026
Charlie Nicholls - 2026
That's the order I see them in.
Based on current ability to compete at AFL level and not be a total liability, but...
BrennanCox was the last KPD I had on my list that didn't want to make me throw up (I'm looking at you Tom McDonald). Had to do a quick Wheelo search and found a player who I actually rate but probably should not be going this early. Nevertheless, I can't risk losing what little KPDs are left...
