...was severely reprimanded.
With the addition of Cumming and Peatling there is no room in the midfield. Absolutely NO room. There is also no room in the backline for Laird as we are settled with our youth coming through.
Trade him and get him out of our club.
What are your thoughts on Rory...
I wanted to start this thread because the club and media read BF.
But honestly this guy is now a complete liability, hack kicks, zero intensity and effort, he costs us goals. Should attend no more than 5 CBAs per match and needs to go into defense to learn to defend again, maybe in the SANFL is...
Trades are getting harder to plan for - with massive outbreaks of stupidity in selection (aka "Bevoism"), players channelling their inner Leon and general COVID ****witery.
At this stage - with rumours of Kelly missing through concussion.
Out: Wehr, Kelly
In: 190K defender, Bontempelli...

The Crows third nominee for the year. At least this year has not been a complete waste...
From afl.com.au
EVEN Rory Laird admits he's been surprised with how well he's transitioned to AFL football after becoming Adelaide's third NAB AFL Rising Star nominee this year.
Laird's nomination...

Predicted the club would trott this line out in a pathetic attempt to try and take some heat of Trigg and co.
"Rory Laird, Sam Kerridge and Mitch Grigg are others whose contracts will be discussed at the club in coming weeks as it focuses on the future."

sign all three up right now!
So he get's two down to one for this?
My question is what was Jimmy's alternative? He just stood there and Laird ran into him...
I'm slightly confused.
Thoughts? Maybe I'm missing something.
Thought a thread for all of these guys is called for. None were first 22 last year and suddenly theyre best 22 and doing a great job. Future looks bright, all 22 or less (excluding jenkins) and less than twenty games!!
Next year one of these guys needs to become a regular in the backline for us, and while we paid more for Brown I think on SANFL form this year Rory could well step up before Brown. I was surprised that Rory didnt get a game this year but that may have cost extra money as he is a rookie (not sure...
Crows rookie listed player Rory Laird has been playing high level footy in the SANFL and will get upgraded this year. I was wondering where people would think he may of gone in the draft this year. He better than a lot of the young defenders who people rate in this draft.
Having talked to someone who has closely worked with Roy Laird I am amazed that he has not been considered for an assistant at Port or the Crows. He said that Roy's tactical part of the game is second-to-none .His records itself speaks volumes for him as a coach.
We forever read that Roy has...
...from 7 seasons, and one 2nd placing, he would be on the radar of AFL teams? My dad is a mad centrals fan and continuously rambles on about Roy Laird should be Adelaides new coach (yes he is a Craig hater).
Just was interested in hearing some opinions about this guy. He has dominated for 7...
As a Central Districts fan in the SANFL, wondering whether the Tigers would have any interest in Roy laird as a potential assiatnt coach?
Baffled me how this guy has not be canvassed for a role with an AFL club to my knowledge.
Has an impeccable record.
Been senior coach since 2003 (replacing...
Should Adelaide persue either as an assistant...
I could see either being and assistant and maybe in 2009 being our "match day" coach/strategist...
Maybe Jars more likely than Daniher. Jars is not afraid to take a chance, something that is lacking in our coaches box at the minute. And it is...
Central Districts issued a press release today confirming Roy Laird as the new coach.
I've posted an article on FootySA about it
