Preview AFL 2025 Round 3 - Saints v Tigers Sat March 29th 4:15pm AEDT (Marvel)

So after 4 upsets in a row by the Saints over the Cats at Marvel, when does an upset stop being an upset?

Preview 2025 AFL Season - Round 3: St Kilda v Richmond (Saturday March 29, 4.15pm - Marvel Stadium)

Hammer was not actually a CFC AFL listed player. He was just in their VFL Program, and so any club could have grabbed him.

Well he is in the Leadership Group, so you would assume that hey will bring him back in if he is match fit.

I expect minimal changes, in part as we will he playing the Tigers who also have a lot of young and raw players. Sharman and Carroll in place of Stocker and Clark. It also sounds like our other genuine first 22 prospects like Henry need another game or two before promotion.

Yes the Trainee Receptionist has a great eye for talent.

    Autopsy Saints roll the Cats.

Yes I too thought exactly that as I watched the replay. He would 100% of known his foot made no ball contact....but he claimed a goal immediately.

Autopsy AFL 2025 Round 2 - Saints v Cats Sat March 22nd 7:35pm AEDT (Marvel)

Odd comment. Counting this game, for St Kilda: 1 Game 1 player 2 Games 2 players 4 Games 1 player 11 Games 1 player 25 Games 1 player 35 Games 1 player Another 5 players with 68 or less games. So that is 12 developing players out of the 23 who played. If that is not an overhaul, what is?

We have brought the XL bottle of Special Sauce today. In the last half of that quarter the pressure in our forward line was intense. Cats did not know what to do.

In the warm up Keeler was with the forward group. Caminiti with the backs. So I would guess that is where both will start. Wood also with the forwards.

Autopsy Crows hammer Saints by 63 in round 1

It is not pessimism on my part. I know that we are rebuilding. I am in the Montagna Camp. Unlikely to make the 8 this year, but possible if all goes well and we have some youth step up. Adelaide were the clear favourites Last week. The problem was that mentally a lot of our players were...

Autopsy Crows hammer Saints by 63 in round 1

While you do have a valid point on us having so many more very young and inexperienced players, it does not excuse how extremely poor out team was, and especially a number of our older players. Overall the the "Special Sauce" was almost completely lacking in our playing group. We are meant...

See the speculation on Lyon and injuries and players is true.... He only has to mention a player and he goes down injured.

Great effort if he stays back. ;) Personally I am hoping he plays forward and Caminiti back.

Preview Saints Geelong R2, Saturday, 7:35 PM

Just on the Ins and Outs. Isaac Keeler, Liam Stocker, Mitch Owens, Lance Collard IN - Zaine Cordy, Arie Schoenmaker, Harry Boyd, Angus Hastie OUT It does make us an appreciably quicker team as the first three outs are all slow. Plus abit more running power too. Collard needs to really ramp...

I think also that Hill is the type of player who can look very good when the team is playing well......but when the team is struggling he is not the type of player who will get you back into the game.

Autopsy Crows hammer Saints by 63 in round 1

I kept clear of posting after the game. Yes we were young, yes we had a lot of inexperienced and young players, yes we were playing also a lot of underdone players and yes I thought in advance that we would most likely lose to a full strength Crows Team on their home deck. We had reasons to...

Autopsy Crows hammer Saints by 63 in round 1

Yes so far Caminit seems to just be mainly a mark and kick man. At present I would rather see him played back, rather than forward. Playing Cordy has no upside. Better to trial Caminiti down back. At least he may turn into a player. Cordy will never be first 22.

Game Day Crows vs Saints Round One 2025

Not a lot to say, undermanned team that is also playing poorly. Asa team we are just not connecting at all well. Crows have looked pretty polished. Wilson continuing on with his last season's form. Nasiah good...though disposal has been off. Some the old hands like Hill and Wood in...
