People should not forget how brilliant and VITAL Lincoln McCarthy is in that role. His accuracy, sublime foot skills and marking have been missed. Elliott is definitely one to study his rehab. He was having massive hamstring/back related issues ans struggling at VFL level. At one point it was debatable whether he would ever get back. I suspect he is gold standard in terms of doing all the right rehab and high training standards. Plus Pies... -

Tend to agree with all you say above. In saying that, I would have said he was in a similar position last year yet has a premiership medal. Luck plays it's part in footy. I guess it depends on how Chris and the coaching staff think he fits in the squad not just our best 23.- Word Count: 56
