    2020 Non-Crows AFL Discussion

http://aca.st/d26b5e Adelaide Crows star Brad Crouch says “players are worried” and he knows of players who will “struggle to pay their mortgages” when pay cuts hit. Brad has told the FIVEaa sports show: ___________________________ Footballers really just need to keep their gobs shut at the...

https://www.afl.com.au/news/390132/time-to-burst-the-bubble-on-afl-footballers-lever Poor bugger. We're not so different to everyone else, I already got paid $400k this year to do some fitness training and play 1 match in front of an empty stadium. Over the next 2 months, if the AFL get their...

Unofficial Preview Footy's back! MELBOURNE v ADELAIDE this Saturday Feb 22, 2020

Hopefully McAsey and Gollant can pluck these sorts of marks in a real game. Will be nice to have some draftees with sticky hands.

Prediction ROUND 1 2020 - Pick your best team

I am not having a go at you here, just trying for some healthy debate. At the end of the day most of us just want to see the Crows play some decent entertaining footy to a clear gameplan, with an actual plan B if things aren't going our way. I'd prefer to have some ruck cover and give RoB some...

Prediction ROUND 1 2020 - Pick your best team

In a team like this, if RoB (touch wood) gets any injury and comes off the field, who rucks? Genuinely interested in people proposing we drop the Frampton/Himmelberg backup ruck position, as we are a relatively short team across the rest of the field, and guys like Fog, Walker, Lynch, McAsey...

    Endless Summer of Cricket

Yeah I was going to say. I don't really count Wade as a part timer either. I feel like Smith is only used in that role of "1 last over before lunch/tea" see if someone wants to have a slog and get out type of role, rather than as a genuine relief part timer.

    Endless Summer of Cricket

I do like Labuschagne as a bowler. Showed in county cricket for Glamorgan he can bowl 44 overs in an innings and take regular wickets. Who are the other 2 part timers? Head and Wade? Technically Smith and Warner should be able to bowl too but never seem to do much these days as their batting...

    Endless Summer of Cricket

Head responded the best way he possibly could and got the only century of the Australian innings. However, NZ won the toss and put Australia in to bat, which is a ballsy move given the history of such moves in Australia. As a result, NZ got to bowl 155.1 overs. Had NZ batted first and Australia...

Prediction ROUND 1 2020 - Pick your best team

Just exciting to potentially have someone to replace Jenkins who consistently can take contested marks in the forward line. The aggression is nice to have, as adding that to the contested marking means that defenders get nervous when drifting back into a hole to take an intercept mark. With...

    Training 2020 Pre Season Training

https://www.afl.com.au/news/320626/where-s-your-club-at-injury-list-training-latest-who-s-flying ADELAIDE The Crows have spent plenty of time on the training track under the watchful eye of new senior coach Matthew Nicks. Quick ball movement by foot and applying pressure to win back possession...

    Endless Summer of Cricket

Exactly this. Also, Australia got the best of the bowling conditions. With pink ball cricket the final night session is where the pace bowlers get movement and get their rewards. In the NZ first innings, after NZ had been in the field in 40 degree heat for 5 sessions over 2 days, Australia got...

    Endless Summer of Cricket

Very interesting. But I would still bring in the extra bowler (Pattinson + Neser) for the MCG, play Warner, Burns, Labuschagne, Smith, Wade, Paine, Pattinson, Cummins, Starc, Neser, Lyon. Tell Head that he needs to work on his patience and that he will be back for the SCG. As well as Head is...

New AFC Headquarters at the Aquatic Centre!!

Suspect that no fence means lots of security cameras around the site. Get the night vision cameras and enforce the $210 dog poo fines. Plenty of room on the golf course, lawn tennis courts and equestrian club for the dogs to poop on.

New AFC Headquarters at the Aquatic Centre!!

I think we will find that moving the Crows corporate offices to North Adelaide, that there are more likely to be licensed/other venues that convert into Crows friendly venues. Having that daily corporate weekday presence in the area is much different to having 11 x 3 hour (weekend/night)...
