It's bizarre to have a 195cm inside midfielder. He clearly carries injury risk with his size and age. Seems like it must be a decent risk to not be playing games

Game Day Round 18, 2025: West Coast vs Port Adelaide

Hi friends, come to express surprise at the four week suspension. Completely agree with your logic - it's not woke to clamp down on this. but. He self-reported and showed genuine remorse. Meanwhile Tom Lynch got only one week more for king-hitting a bloke from behind. Banning Jack Graham for...

I would guess that it's pretty high risk of injury to throw a 195cm teenager into contested ball AFL without the right preventative strength and conditioning work.

    Player Watch #42 Mykelti Lefau Re-Signed 2026

Honestly they should just retire, can't come back from an ACL at all

Welcome, have a coffee and stay a while. I'd suggest Tauru will continue to be a consistent thread in this thread. Would love your third party views on Smillie when he starts playing in the AFL side too

Not commenting on your actual post, but how tf did you make your way into this conversation? Are you tracking every mention of Tauru, or are you tracking Smils? Feel very niche that you're here hahah

He's in the minority in showing that he can effectively spoil the ball. We'd be more likely to throw one of the others forward IMO

you're going to get roasted for this comment, but 100% agree with you

mate if you think any of the above drivel that's been written in here is anything close to legal analysis...

Imagine criticising a teenager because you think your opinion is better than the professionals.

Player Watch #29 Jasper Alger - Debut Round 15

I think Levi Ashcroft might be a day or two younger. But yes, has shown enough that he should stay in the team for a good month at least.

Any risk of anyone on here admitting they have NFI when it comes to ACL injuries in professional athletes?

Fairly certain he'll be needed there next week too. Which is better than being the absolute defensive liability he has been recently.

VFL Round 14 v Northern Bullants Genis Oval Saturday June 28th 2.05pm

Completely agree, totally overhyped. We love a skinny kid who gives out loopy handballs. Will get found out at AFL level. Just tries to do too much. Looks rusty for someone who hasn't played for 12 months. Hard to believe this kid was pick 12, unbelievable effort by our recruiting team once...

He's earned the opportunity and has the tank. Nothing to lose really.

    Player Watch #21: Noah Balta

He's been alright the last couple of games, but he is solely responsible for giving away dumb goals on multiple occasions in most matches this year. But you're right that we'll keep him, hopefully just as back-up.

    Player Watch #40 Tyler Sonsie

He's in that 20-40 game 'whipping boy' range where improvements are incremental but he's familiar enough that fans are frustrated with his lack of progress. My best guess from here: The next couple of times we play competitively as a team (a GWS-type game rather than SYD/WB-type game) he will...

Preview Round 16 v Adelaide MCG Sunday June 29th 3.15pm - Short This Week

I'd be interested at seeing the difference in our ball speed between our wins and losses. When we're struggling we are really slow to move the ball on, which is likely partially due to our nursery of a forward-line, but when we're on we're much quicker.

List Mgmt. Trade & Free Agency 2025

Alright, good banter everyone. Let's recap: This all started from a hypothetical trade idea of Sims/Armstrong + North's 2025 First Rounder for FOS, off the back of FOS saying he's moving in with Lalor and Hotton. By suggesting that would be a good value trade for us, I brought out a couple of...

List Mgmt. Trade & Free Agency 2025

If you believe that about this year's draft then sure, but on consensus perspective that this year's draft isn't very good, then it's a much more reasonable hypothetical trade
