CoJ have to be about the worst local government these days don't they? Led the way on sucking as much cash as possible out of community and sports clubs and have spent $0.00 on the facilities or playing fields.

I foolishly ventured into a large suburban shopping centre on Saturday to procure such timeless mothers day classics as slippers and choccies. WTF did all the goofy looking emo-come-anime kids come from?

Successive governments have busily set about casualising the healthcare workforce. So bucket loads of them walk out of the industry every year. You can't try to build a life with the kind of instability they expect health workers to put up with.

We used to call it a horsey. Presumably because you look a bit like a horse-shoe. Apparently a horsey is now a hair-style or something :shoutyoldman:

Original Dr Who theme is a total banger. There is a doco around somewhere about the BBC guy who made it. Super interesting!

Sounds apocryphal. How on earth do you "watch someone else not go to someone else's aid" yet have no compulsion to engage in rendering aid yourself? If it's so you can be inspired to write a chart topper, that is all kinds of ****ed up.

That's pretty much his schtick though? I think finishing on 10 minutes of Husband/Wife trope jokes took a bit of the sting out of it. Pretty safe territory to plumb though given 90% of the crowd was probably mid 40-mid 50's

Yah anyone pretending this is a normal level of heat is kidding themselves. This is a record scorcher. Combined with the relentless, howling wind through December and January it has been one of the worst summers I can recall. Just unpleasant all round. Get in the bin summer!
