    Seeing as they are all in on the draft not being compromised, only complicated, it may be worthwhile leveraging that as a strategy for compensation. Go through each of our last 3 drafts and put a points value on what father son/NGA selections have pushed out natural picks out to. So for...

    I agree with this, but that should be our counter offer when they knock back compensation. We should ask for our first and second round picks to fall at 1 and 19 and we get who we pick.

    Or... we could just ask the AFL to lock in our picks per ladder finishing position. If we finish last we pick 1 and 19 etc, Combat the dilution which would help a rebuild much more than picks 1 and then after the academy picks say something like 28. Also gives us an attractive trading tool...

    I'm hoping that Barnett's improved physique translates into additional self confidence which will help him. His problem, to me, seems to be a lack of self belief and being quite easy to mentally rattle. Hopefully the bigger rig gives him more self belief.
