    We've almost reached the point where the Sydney pitch changes from "dull and flat, offering little to the bowlers" (when Australia is bowling) to "suddenly this pitch is breaking up and has a lot of spice to it" (when Australian batsmen look like getting out practically every second or third ball.

    Cartwright being listed as an allrounder is pretty funny. He's about as much of an allrounder as Aaron Finch. (in reality, Cartwright is a batsman who doesn't score quickly enough to be any good in BBL).

    Imagine if the Scorchers overseas recruits were two solid batsmen rather than a spinner who doesn't play and an allrounder who isn't a good bowler and almost always gets out during the power play.

    Got a few friends racing in the Busselton Ironman today so I was having a look through the results. Old mate Beau Waters won his age group (30-34) and was 15th fastest overall out of more than 1000 competitors. Pretty fair effort!
