    You're right it could, but I don't believe the bible infers that the earth is two dimensional. Job 26:7 talks about the earth being suspended in space, i'd think that suggests 3 dimensions. I guess it comes down to how you interpret the bible. To you it might seem that it inferring a flat earth...
