    Of course that makes sense but the league will never embrace regression and there is no appetite from the media for such a move (unless of course it was GC or GWS), due to the usual vested interests.

    Honestly, either move North there as a relocation or move their licence there and start from scratch. North can go win flags in the VFL (or whatever they call it now). There’s no room for an extra mouth to feed.

    Why would the Pay TV companies simply concede those games to FTA though? They are guaranteed to attract viewers (ie subscribers) in those states. It’s a business, not a public service - no matter how much Channel 7 might like to pretend they don’t exist to sell advertising space.
