    If they build it without a roof it will be an absolute blight on the competition and we will never see a decent game of footy played in that state - just like the last 20+ years. Do it right or don't bother. It's not like we NEED to add this team - especially not without getting rid of another...

    It'll get done. Hopefully with the roof, which seems an elaborate demand by the league....to anyone who hasn't watched an AFL game played in Tasmania over the last 20 years. It has to have a roof or the quality of footy will be awful - smartest thing the AFL has done is stay strong on the roof...

    I mean, amazing season and a worthy RS winner but....I am pretty sure they don't have score assist stats for all of VFL history. :think: Benny Cuz kicked 34 goals/20 games in his first (RS winning) season in 96. Would be interesting to see how they compared with score assists.

    Carlton, Essendon, Geelong, North Melbourne (they got a lot of fans in the 70s and 80s with the likes of Cable, Glenndinng and the Krakours). Then I think Hawthorn and St Kilda. Edit: Oh and Collingwood obviously!

    Melbourne supporters are easily the hardest to gauge due to their hibernation periods. From what I can tell, depending on how the team is travelling, supporting the Dees sits somewhere between exclusive cigar lounge and shameful family secret.
