    Some people have the time and patience to groom their pets weekly. I do not. One thing that is surprising about the Lappie is that they don't require any grooming at all, despite their appearance. We have much more problems with our Cavalier's coat than Sass's much longer coat.

    Thought about getting that. No chance I'd be allowed that in despite it being under the zoom range required. Plus it is just too expensive to be carrying around to the footy. Have the 135L which is exceptional as well.

    Came out alright. Night shots are always a bit tedious. Shot most of these on 1/320. Would probably up the ISO next time and shoot faster. A bit too much movement IMO.

    The policy (as I understand it) is for all grounds. They are making up regulations if they say otherwise at the gates. But a big white lens does tend to make them nervous.

    Nope and nope. I checked with Patrick Keane (before he was in every news article about the AFL) about what was the exact size allowed in. You are allowed to have up to 200mm as a lens. No restrictions on your camera. I was sitting row A so right on the fence.

    Well, if you're interested I am considering selling both my 135mm and the 300mm. I have just bought a 70-200mm f/2.8L IS and have other pressing needs that require me to sell my 300mm.

    Nope, gotta use my 135mm in at the AFL (the 300mm sticks out like a sore thumb). I take the 300mm to the TAC Cup with me. I'm going to upgrade my 135mm to the new 70-200mm which will give me more length to use at the ground.
