    If this plays out as per the article I can't see the essendon football club existing any more. It will be sued by players and lose the majority of its sponsors, be busted arse broke and further punished by the afl. That would be a really shit day. I love watching us play the dons. :(

    I think the fine was right, any more on the draft picks and you are punishing the fans as much as the club. The afl went too hard at Carlton in that respect Where they have been too light is hird - he should have got a minimum of two and probably more like five years

    +this thread is assuming any team in the future - not just essendon are found guilty and lose premiership points. Can do you Actually rejigger it so its fair - do the points clubs won by beating or didn't win by losing to the guilty club stand? Seeing as some clubs play them twice and others...
