I think you’re getting away pretty cheaply there. Narkle and Constable are both just above steakknife level really.

Yeah good question. Maybe it could be tied somehow into Higgins getting to Geelong and Brown moving to Melbourne, but that ends up as a four-way trade which makes my head hurt.

Could it be tied into the Preuss trade, so you get picks and Preuss in return for Cameron and Geelong send something to Melbourne?

Good trade for us. Great trade for you. Bloody hilariously bad trade for Freo.

You’ve currently got 15 this year, do you think it’ll be pushed back that far?

So GWS get: Hogan, Ratugolea, pick 13, pick 20 GWS lose: Cameron, pick 43 Geelong get: Cameron Geelong lose: Ratugolea, Narkle, pick 13, pick 20 Fremantle get: Narkle, pick 43 Fremantle lose: Hogan Seems reasonable. I think you probably deserve more for Cameron but it might be hard to prise...

Thoughts on this deal? Geelong trade picks 13, 20 and 37 to Carlton for picks 8 and 29 (Carlton to use one of the high picks to get Saad and keep the other one) Then trade picks 8, 29 and a fringe player (say Constable) to GWS for Cameron and pick 43.

Banter thread - Next up the Cygnets

Hmmm, NicNat or Giles, which one would we rather trade away to a fellow premiership hopeful...?

Banter thread - Next up the Cygnets

With NicNat and Lycett to return and Vardy added to the list this year, I'm sure we'd listen to offers :p

The trend league wide seems to be going with one ruckman and one pinch hitting forward. That's what we've done the last few weeks after dropping Giles, and it's what we'll do this week with either McInnes or Petrie backing up Vardy. I think it'd be the best move for you too, if Simpson wouldn't...

I don't doubt your fight either, and in any other week I'd be just as worried about our boys taking the game for granted with all your injuries.

Can't see that happening after last weekend tbh. Came in to see who replaces Lobb who's a massive out as he could have dominated against our backline. The broad consensus seems to be Himmelberg with someone like Patton giving Mummy a chop out?

28 as a Chris Lewis tribute? He's probably too young to remember Lewis though. Who's he related to?

Bump. Any news on this? Giants are the only club yet to confirm their guernsey numbers.

    Giants get their numbers

Power is the only one, of the players with previous AFL experience at least. Ward, Palmer, Scully, Davis, Reid, Brogan, Cornes, Setanta, McDonald etc all changed numbers.

    GWS Player Numbers 2012

The "my guesses" at the end would suggest not. O'hAilpin seems to be #51 judging by his Twitter. Cornes is said to have #53. And according to Sheeds, he's leaving #10 empty for Pendlebury.
