    Schubert IMO will make an outstanding KPD at AFL level. I know most clubs will draft him to play KPF but if you look at his attributes he’d be outstanding there, even if just for some development years so he’s playing in the 22.

    Yes. Sharp is such an obvious area of need for us that we’d be stupid not to take him. Need the defensive minded extractor and can impact immediately feeding out to Harley and Hewett. I could cope with Sharp-Duursma but Cumming IMO will be a better AFL footballer than Duursma.

    Have loved Sam since his futures game last year. Athletic, kicks goals, hard footballer and very good overhead. Most rounded player in the draft and personally I would pick him over Duursma and pair him with Sharp.

    Farrow and Xavier Taylor are really closing the gap on Lindsay IMO, depending on exactly what you’re looking for.

    Other than mid what other areas if not KPPs? You don’t need a Lindsay or Farrow with McGrath, Redman and if Z Reid can get fit he’s an excellent kick too. Maybe Marsh? Could play forward or wing. Dovaston maybe not a need with Kako.

    Problem being we haven’t cut the list deep and depending on trades may only have 3 list spots. Can’t see us passing on Sharp and we wouldn’t then pair Greeves with him. Greeves has a few red flags for us too. Duursma, Sharp, Cumming then Grlj I’d expect to be our targets.

    I would be very surprised if we accepted that with a clear 1-2 in the draft but hey, trading pick 3 for a packet of twisties last year was also surprising.

    Our half arsed delistings mean we won’t trade both. But as long as we get Sharp I’d do 1,2 and our 2xF2s for 4,5,6 (assume Draper band 1) and your 2xF1s but you wouldn’t.     You should definitely go after W Duursma and I think you will. Back to the 1 + ? For 5,6 question. NM won’t release Zane for anything less than a top 10 pick, even band 1 Draper compo I don’t think would be enough.

    Probably not but wouldn’t be far away. 1,20 for 5,6 I’d do, although I appreciate you guys have your NGAs coming in around the natural pick 20 mark so may not be palatable. 1,13,Liam Ryan for 5,6,24,28 I’d do if the interest in him is as reported.

    4 would be safe before Dean, but I still think you guys will want to deal with us for pick 1. Walker is a great talent, would be good to get some clarity on Cochrane too if clubs are dealing F1s. Butler and Van Dyk the only top 3-4 kids with no FS/academy links (one TBC).
