    Simply put I was saying Curtin would be available at 6. The implication being IF you were going to take him at 3 then you’d be better off splitting 3 and getting 6 and 11 thus picking up Windsor or Wilson as well.

    Agreed but I don’t think the Cats will be contending anytime in the next decade which is a good thing from our point of view. Our retention is good so I’ll back it in. Hopefully you can keep McKercher from Tassie if it pans out that way.

    You’re in the same boat as your simple mate Gustaaf. I don’t want to trade 1 for 2 and 3. The point I was making is that 6 and 11 is better than 3. FYI peak Judd was 3,4 and 20 and yep, I’m as keen as anyone to get this f**king draft over with.

    Very, VERY happy to take Reid. Up to you blokes, not going to tell you how to build your list but I would definitely take Curtin AND Windsor/Wilson over Duursma.

    100% sure Curtin is there at 6. Really think you should trade 3 for 6 and 11 if Dees are keen. I wouldn’t trade 1 for 2 and 3 but I would trade 1 for 2,6,11. That’s McKercher, Curtin and Windsor/Wilson in my book.

    I agree most clubs had Ginbey outside top 5 and the draft itself showed that. No doubt being from WA would have put him ahead of players WC viewed of similar ability. I can tell you with absolute certainty that the Eagles have H. Reid as #1 on their board this year.
