    Schubert is a bit different. Exceptional back shoulder player, reads the flight so well, very athletic and again can ruck. Will make a better KPD than KPF at AFL level IMO. If WCE drafted him I’m sure we’d be playing him in defence.

    The best assistance pick that could possibly be given is pick 11 after the non finalists and would be based on our 2R should have been pick 19 in our two spoon years but instead blew out to 30. Absolutely no way we get a priority pick at the start of the draft.

    3/4 would be a bit high for him. Carlton might be very interested to get ahead of a Dean bid so maybe 4 and your F2 for TDK compo (9ish) and F1 (which will be eaten by a Walker bid) may suit both clubs.

    We don’t want to be using Harley as an extractor, probably same with Hewett. Would rather them as first receivers or hitting the contest at speed.     I will be absolutely shocked if Sharp doesn’t end up at WCE. He’s exactly what our midfield balance needs and the best at it in a long time. Poor combine testing would be the only hurdle I’d imagine.

    If we don’t leverage Gold Coast for Port’s pick by threatening to bid at 1 and 2 we should dead set fold the club. At least the Saints will keep them honest, the northern academy advantage is ridiculous.
