    Big ratings winner my ass. Every primetime game featuring Essendon and Carlton this year has been a ratings disaster. There is a reason why Channel 7 dumped this game to fox. Yes, these are two historic clubs, but nobody wants to watch these 2 teams and the ratings reflect that.

    I remember 7 or 10 uses to sell games to Fox back in 2008 or something after they lost the rights. Surely the AFL and 7 should team up and get a FTA game on 7. Likewise, the broadcast deal was also renegotiated when covid happened too, so there is precedence.

    Is it possible for this deal to be renegotiated? The AFL needs to get a saturday night FTA game on 7 at all costs while also removing the delayed coverage from their broadcasts to interstate. Those 2 things have had a huge effect on the northern clubs.

    the national TV average of Front Bar last night was just under 600k. For Reference, the St Kilda V Fremantle game only had a national average of around 480k viewers. Which means more people watched the front bar than that game haha

    Watching Gerard and slobbo having a convo on 360 was the equivalent of me trying to talk to my mate while he was on the piss. That's why we loved it, because we all had a slobbo in our lives. The only one who can relate to Gary Lyon was probably wayne carey.
