Preview Round 7 - Lions vs Swans Saturday 4th May 4:35pm GABBA

Honestly reading the two threads on both boards feels like I'm in bizzaro world. Everything so far this season says that the lions should win this game but I've just got too many depressing memories of playing Sydney over the last decade to really believe it. That and I just don't trust anyone...

Past Gary Rohan (Missing: report any sightings to the Geelong physio) - traded 2018, to Geelong

Only saw this today and my heart has broken for them both. I can't imagine what it would be like to not have my little man in my life and having seen my best mate go through the loss of his one day old daughter recently, the conflict they must be feeling between joy and devastation must be...

Past Alex Johnson - thank you for all your service, delisted 2018

Best of luck to Alex this weekend. Cannot imagine how difficult it would have been for him over the last few years to keep his head up and continue working hard to get back. Well done to the swans for sticking by him as well. Hope he has a great game on the weekend and enjoys the crap out of...

List Mgmt. 2015 List Discussion (No rumours or hypotheticals please)

Worth noting that you can only take as many picks into the draft as you have list spots available. Unfortunately for fellow academy sides it means that trading down a high pick for two lower ones only works of you've got the extra list spot available. For example if the lions had 2, 21,39 and 42...

Preview Round 7: Sydney v Brisbane Lions (Gabba), Sat 7:40pm

Personally I doubt we will drop a tall, if we didn't against the saints then we won't here. We've been playing tall all season in our backline. Gardiner has been playing on that sort of mid/lower height forward given he seems to be pretty mobile and by doing that doesn't give away as much...
