    If Logan Morris can draw the same scrutiny he got tonight in two weeks, one of him or Gallop will kick a bag. Not convinced between Stewart and O'Sullivan they have the chops to lock down on both especially considering the mix between the two.

    Annable won't start inside midfield at AFL level. He's already shown an ability to play outside and half forward/back during the AFL Academy series and futures game. Inside midfield is where he'll end up but he has enough other weapons to get a few years to develop his body outside that position.

    I reckon a lot of the heat will be taken out of the academy situation if Gold Coast lose out on one of their players bid on in the first round. The angst about academies should be tempered because this is the end goal of what they were brought in for.

    Best decision by the selection committee with regard to forward/ruck, none of the options tried this year have worked flawlessly. Back the young bloke in the same way we did last year with Morris and Lohmann and I reckon we'll be pleasantly surprised.

    Fantastic work Crusha, his play at 2:45 really shows how high level his offensive nous is. Obviously not expecting it from a highlight video but does anyone who's seen him know what his defensive work rate is like? Can be the difference between a Cameron/McCarthy and a Blake Coleman.

    Definitely smells like his management trying to shake a better contact loose. I do remember we were right into him during 2017 though, but opted away because he was a bit samey with Rayner, at the time being medium forwards with upside.

    With regard to Gallop, I wouldn't be surprised if he was taller than reported. Seemed a fair bit taller than Luke Lloyd in the VFL prelim last year despite Lloyd being recorded at 193cm.

    I think Fletcher must be the most maligned player on our list, purely by admission. He's a midfielder playing on the wing, who also just so happens to be coming into his third year at the top level. I'll die on the hill that any of his potential replacements are anywhere near his level.
