    Sam Graham was asked about this at the Historical Society lunch during the week. He essentially said cricket will carry on publicly for a while about a permanent wicket but that the reality is that they already know it will be a drop in pitch.

    Heaven forbid they use an image like either of these, you don’t want reality getting in the way. The second one shows the tiny little Gabba in the background. How people can say there isn’t room there while retaining a substantial portion of the parkland doesn’t make sense.
