Jiath is super impressive. Looks like he could fill most positions on the field too. Great instincts to be where he needs to be both defensively and offensively. Going to be interesting to see where he ends up as he develops. -

We have Port's first rounder this year. We could sling it your way in return for Cyril? i don't think things are quite as dire for you as they might seem. If you were to creep down the ladder for a year or two, you can be back up by 2020 competing for a top four finish...if you get everything... -

Congratulations. A great team that stood up and came through whenever the pressure was on all season. Not a classic GF from a neutral point of view but tense till late and your team never wavered. -

As an outsider, I think I can speak for most when I say this is a tiny storm in a little teacup compared to the Category 5 cyclone consuming the Essendon coach. In fact the most interesting thing for me was the fact there was an 84 year old trainer on the field. What a champ! -

Well done by your guys, an expected victory but you showed how much class you have in those conditions. A class above where we, and most other teams are at right now. And Roughhead is an absolute gun! Might be the best forward in the game at the moment. Everything he does seems quality. -
Commiserations
Ditto to all the above. As much as it will hurt for you guys right now, both teams played in an amazing game. You were more than worthy grand finalists and a kick away from being premiers. Both teams spoke of their respect for each other, and I think neutral supporters could feel that. -

You guys will be disappointed obviously but you were only just beaten in a great game by a good team. You should feel a lot of pride in your team and the season even though there will always be what-ifs after a game like that. I have no doubt the Hawks will be right up there next year...
