    Subi had lights installed for 1997 (first night match was vs. Sydney in round 1 of that season), but the WACA contract overlapped so they played on at the ground for another couple of years. I think.

    If the oval wasn't so big and there wasn't such a huge distance between the fence and the boundary line and the banks of seats went upwards instead of outwards and it was accessible via public transport and it wasn't in a rain belt... it mightn't have been too bad a venue. :footy:
