    I haven't been inside the ground - did they plant enough mature trees along the ridge to do a job in the years ahead? I probably wouldn't entertain a day game there outside of the winter months. Unless I was guaranteed a grandstand seat with the afternoon sun behind it.

    I'd estimate that most of us died in the wool supporters were guilty of a meltdown or three during parts of the season - so don't feel too bad about it now. It's only because we love this club so much!

    I mean if there's one positive to take away from this rollercoaster of a season it's been the train of promising young players coming through, with Levi still to join them. Hopefully the next wave isn't built as mentally fragile when it's their turn to lead.

    The Lions HO really need to step up lobbying efforts for a suitable long-term solution. Unfortunately the lack of co-operation about financially contributing to a temporary home at RNA was part of the reason why the Gabba rebuild stalled.

    I don't see much reason to invest much in a 30 something year old coming off a damaging knee injury. Particularly a bloke that has typically relied on a level of explosiveness and leaping ability. That's a brutal assessment but charity doesn't win flags.
