Player Watch Pick #33 (2024) - Jack Whitlock

It's early days but he is impressing. Hopefully he can get into the team and kick some goals and second ruck. Just what the doctor ordered. And he's signed on early to 2027. Love it.

Relax Kane, the Hornet is He-Man to your Skeletor.

That's not very good at all.

    List Mgmt. 2025 AFL Draft - November 19-20 (Picks 49, 85, 121)

At 7, I'd take the local product Sam Cumming just over Dyson Sharp and Sam Grlj.

News Dougie Cochrane accepted into AFL Indigenous Academy

I didn't want to say that because someone on here would have a go but once he puts on muscle, he will be hard to stop. His contested marking is just electric. He can be smashed in the body or by the hands and he has the ability to clunk the ball with ease. He has a flow to all aspects of his...

    Next seasons surprise packet

Yeah, people will have their opinions on certain players. Someone might be hot for Lorenz or know a bit more about Walsh than I do. He finished 4th which is really good but in a very down year for the club and there are about 10 much more talented players who could easily jump over him in the...

    List Mgmt. List Management 2025-26

I'm warming on Jaidyn bigtime. It would be a great redemption arc. I think he would love the club too. I think he still has the talent and whether we get early Magpie Jaidyn where he's marking the ball more and kicking more goals or Kangaroos Jaidyn where he is playing smaller and playing...

News Dougie Cochrane accepted into AFL Indigenous Academy

Yes. His highlights are super impressive. I would say he has around the same talent as the Hornet but in a 195cm frame. He does everything at a high level. Footballing instincts - very high Marking - deadly Kicking - unbelievable for a tall guy, got a left foot too Forward craft - awesome...

    Next seasons surprise packet

We have a very exciting year ahead with a humendous amount of guys ready to take a leap. Becoming elite - Horne-Francis, Bergman, Ratugolea Becoming A grade - Burgoyne, Lachie Jones, Lukosius, Sinn, Visentini Great improvement and shown talent - Moraes, Logan Evans, Cochrane, Berry, Whitlock...

Player Watch Pick #16 (2016) - Todd Marshall

The concussion issues will loom very, very strongly with Marshall until he retires. He was having major problems from very innocuous bumps and concussion issues never get better. I'm a realist and I really like Todd but I will find it hard to watch him play.

    List Mgmt. 2025 AFL Draft - November 19-20 (Picks 49, 85, 121)

Hopefully we can grab one guy from the draft to salivate over and hope the best for.

There are a huge amount of players who could take a step. It would be about half the squad. Unbelievably exciting.

I'm going to pick the guy I hope goes supernova next year that I feel would help the team the most and that is Miles Bergman.

Jaidyn is a tough one to work out. He is a very sincere, up front, honest, tell it like it is, kinda guy. I like him a lot. He has a lot of talent, no doubt. Can kick goals which is what we desperately need. Our general forwards are Powell-Pepper who is injured, Durdin, Byrne-Jones, Berry...

    Warren Tredrea (Football discussion only)

The good thing is that while Tredders was on the board Hinkley and Davies are gone. We don't need accountability on the football side of things, we need it on the board itself. There is no real disruptor out there from any Port Adelaide lineage that wants to take on Koch. Not one. Tredders was...

News Ben Rutten appointed new GM - Football

What has he ever done? Has anyone praised him? It always looks like they've wheeled him out from an old folk's home and he's just happy to be a part of things, not a CEO of a Football Club.

Not if you have an enabler like Koch. Then it is very easy.

Rutten is looking the goods and will definitely help Carr. Very good get.

Coach Josh Carr - AFL Senior Coach

I am loving Carr and even when he is saying nothing, he is quite commanding. He's one self-assured dude. I think we got a real good one here.

Player Watch Pick #16 (2016) - Todd Marshall

I like it. Marshall has high IQ, can read the play and has a great boot on him. Good luck.

    Warren Tredrea (Football discussion only)

I was thinking it was more: Dechair Koch and the Board 1 - Warrren Tredrea. We have a board that no matter how useless they are, they get to stick around as long as they want. Koch has to either walk away himself or physically die. That's the options. Same for the rest of them. Is this...

Mega Thread Port Forum General AFL Thread Part 31

The only thing I can say about this is that I need to see a decent run of form of our best 23 with good coaching, hopefully provided by Josh Carr. It might take a while for the players to change their attitudes of the past and unHinklify the loser, nice bloke rubbish out of them and also play to...

    List Mgmt. List Management 2025-26

Nah, he has a better marking profile than that, if he wants to play that. If. you look at his earlier highlights, he can mark well in the air and play on the ground. After winning the Rising Star, the next year he average 15 disposals, 1.5 goals a game, 6.6 marks a game and 6.3 scoring...

Player Watch Welcome to Port Adelaide Corey Durdin

For mine, it was a little bit different. It sounded like you had to play within the system but you could also go outside it when the opportunity arose, that Carr encouraged individual flair or even going against a team rule if it was right at the time. I personally prefer that approach.

    List Mgmt. List Management 2025-26

Jaidyn's stats are a bit weird. He plays two good years and then tails off. It's almost like he plays well and then gets bored. He'd be backing up Luko at 3rd tall but I don't think its worth it. I'd rather get a young player.
  29. Peninsula Boy

One of Hinkley's worst traits as a coach was continually playing list cloggers to the point of self-sabotage.
