i understand the rule if you are in the process of taking a catch & you use the ground to control the ball. But in this case he had total control of the ball before it touched ground.
Peake should have been playing for Australia anyway, we have won the ashes we should have been giving some of our young guns a go in the last 2 tests. The ACB have missed a huge opportunity again just to give a few young guys a taste of test cricket.
The catch was taken & he never lost control of the ball. It was total b******t. The crowd wasn't booing the player they were booing the 3rd umpire. I wouldn't have been surprised if the Scorchers walked off the field after that huge umpiring f****up.
Australia lost the opportunity to trial a few young players, we did what we wanted to do win the ashes. We could have given our young players a chance.
