Yeah, we'll see how I go. I don't have much room to drop calories any further so I will probably have to cycle calories back to maintenance for a week (once weight loss plateaus) before going back into a deficit again.
I feel ya mate.
When my weight got up to 95kg I took my 1RM squat from 135kg to 160kg and boy oh boy did I have to grind out every single one of those extra kilos. Spent a lot of time experimenting with different foot and bar positions to get it there.
I don’t have the 160kg lift on camera...
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder I suppose, to me (barring genetic freaks) getting to a 4 plate squat demonstrates a genuine commitment to weight training that isn't to be sneezed at. And given the amount of flogish douchbaggery and time wasting I see from PTs and other half witted...
Anyone got any tips for a decent powerlifting friendly rig?
This is my ideal setup
-squat rack/power cage with a pullup bar
-mats or flooring to deadlift
Don't want to spend too much money but don't want some flimsy made in china sh*t either
Not sure how you can come to that conclusion given that
a) the dramatic outbreak in Iran is a direct result of them lacking the political will to stop arrivals from China
b) the spread of the outbreak within the Shengen Area is due to freedom of movement
Cute girl in the gym this morning, early 20s first time I’ve seen her
Her cuteness was quickly extinguished by the fact every single thing she used she put back in the wrong position
On the weight plate tree she puts some 5kg in front of the 20kg and some 10kg in front of 15kgs
My wife has developed gestational diabetes, can't get her fasting blood glucose below 5 mmol/L
She has limited her carb intake which seems to have improved things but she will probably have to take an insulin shot every night before bed.
