1000% agree on that starting back 6 with Marchy on the bench. I totally forgot to mention Newman in my previous comment - he was huge for us in 2019. Can't wait until he's back in our starting line up.

And that's why I'd like to see Saad and Williams playing off half back, with Willo moving up the ground to a wing. Last year we played our best football when we played an attacking style....the second half of the year when we went back to the crabbing style around the boundaries were where we...

Preview 2021 AFL Community Series - Carlton v St Kilda Friday 4th March @ Etihad

Ed on the wing has got whiskers all over it imo...granted he's one of our oxygen brothers, but he's much better suited in the engine room. His greatest strength of course is negating an opposition gun mid and picking up a stack of possessions along the way....which is why he's always up there in...

Banter Carlton Football Club, where paying Martin $900k for his 2020 season is acceptable. Jack Martin that is.. avg 13.5 disposals @ $66,666 per disposal

    Autopsy Carlton v Essendon Practice Match - We won:- 14.11 (95) to 11.8 (74)!

Here ya go.....a 26 minute highlight reel of Gibbo just from last year.....you can draw your own conclusions, but he could easily transition into our engine room.

List Mgmt. 2020 List Management II

I'm with ya FBB.....I remember seeing him play against us at the G a few years back when he was still with the Pies, and played a cracking game. He was interviewed on SEN last year, and he seems like a really good guy as well....been through a lot in recent years, but seems to be in a good...

Cottrell should be sticking closer to Ed Curnow than Ed does to his opponent. There's a massive opening over the next few years for a negating mid as Ed drifts into the sunset....although the way Ed's travelling, he's got another 200 games left in him...

Toast John Nicholls Medal 2020 - Congrats Jacob Weitering!

It's almost frightening to think that Jonesy was pretty much on the scrap heap during the 2017 season. Playing VFL and it was only a move to defence where he resurrected his career. These days we'd be absolutely nackered without the big fella in our back half. My fave Blues player :thumbsu::)

One of the categories on the night is the 'Best Young Player', which should go to Matty Cottrell.....not sure if there's anyone else to challenge for the award. If nothing else, it would be a great achievement of hard work and persistence. He was of course overlooked in both the ND and Rookie...

For mine, Eddie is still currently our most dangerous small forward. Past his prime of course, but would still give opposition coaches a few headaches. I'd like to see him working alongside our other smalls this year in his swansong.....last year I honestly believe his presence helped develop...
