Preview Geelong V Brisbane Thu Jun 24 720 pm @ Gabba

One of the problems being Geelong. So many teams are up and about when they play us, because of what we did to them last time...

This one will be tough. If there's one game it'd be reasonable to lose, it's this one. The rest of our fixture is pretty cushy besides Melbourne in the final round. If we win this one, I'd say top 4 is a lock. This will be a huge test.

Oppo Camp Opposition supporters say the strangest things

Absolutely. The umpire should have waited 30, and if the ball hadn't left Rohan's boot by then, call play on, then disallow the shot because the game is finished. That would be a much better spectacle and a better advertisement for the sport.

Review Geelong beat Doggies by 5 points and break their hearts.

I know we all bemoan the last decade of finals, but in moments like this, you have to sit back and appreciate how often we get over the line in these situations. How many times have we won games at the finish line like this? And how many times has Joel been a part of those desperate forward...

Opinion Is Tommy Stewart Geelong’s best player?

Absolutely agree. Dangerfield is a good player, but not reliable. Doesn't do the team stuff enough of the time. Players like Selwood/Stewart/Hawkins are the ones you want. The ones that are always thinking team-first.

Looks like it's not eye gouging, but definitely a punch in the head

Can anyone shed some light on the footage others are sharing of Selwood seemingly eye-gouging and punching a bloke in the head while he's on the ground? Was that in this game? Or from another game earlier on?

Game Day Geelong vs Bulldogs, Friday 18 June GMHBA @ 7:50pm

Would anyone else be onboard with just getting rid of Menegola and having Narkle take his place? I really don't want to lose the kid. He deserves to be out there.

If Hawkins could do it, Danger has no excuse.

Watching the replay currently. Dangerfield almost non-existent at half time, wow.

Review Geelong 112 defeat Port 91 and the "curse of the bye"

One thing I've noticed about Port Adelaide is how little Motlop is involved in the play, but he seems to always be involved in the goal celebrations.

Game Day Geelong v Port Adelaide Rd 13 - Hey its now.. Thur June 10 2021 740 pm at AO

Seems brutally unfair for Narkle, given the way he's been going about his business. This seems like a goblet being thrown down for him and his career at Geelong. I think it'd be fair for him to walk out on the club now. Hope he doesn't.

Coach Chris Scott contracted to 2022 (aka the Chris Scott discussion Part 5- its Like Rocky)

It's pretty grating though when people point to every metric of success except the one that matters? Nobody is questioning Scott's ability to win home and away games, or to generate AA players. They're questioning his ability to win flags.

Oppo Camp Non Geelong football (AFL) discussion 2021

It's frustrating when teams don't have a killer instinct to finish the job, but after decades at the bottom of the ladder, can you blame them?

Nothing worse than watching a team throw a game like that.
