Universal Love Welcome to Hawthorn: Jackson Callow

Fantastic! Looks very promising and can only hope we've found ourselves a good one! Really appreciate the effort you have gone to putting this together. Cheers.

    Preview Round 6 2021: Hawks v Crows, UTAS, Sunday 25th April @ 12:30pm

I would consider Phillips for Downie. Phillips is serviceable but taking a position of a youngster that I'd like a look at. Worth a try imo.

    Unofficial Preview 2020 Draft Discussion

In an ideal/perfect world: The player we rate in the top 5, is not in the top 10 radar of other clubs (similar to Day last year perhaps). We are then able to split our pick 4, still get our top 5 rated man a bit lower down the draft order and another 1st rounder. Wishful thinking but would be a...

    Unofficial Preview 2020 Draft Discussion

I've been thinking about a slightly related issue on this one. Seeing as these U/18 kids are not yet in an AFL setup, does anyone know if their rehab programmes are at least overseen by professionals as they would if they were on an AFL list? If not, would this be a worry? Or is an ACL rehab...

At 2min 47sec, just taking a 40m set shot on his left foot if you don't mind! Not something you see every day. You can read a fair bit into that.

I can definitely see this happening. It all depends on who we have our sights on and where we rate them amongst all other draft prospects. Our highest rated player outside the top 2 may be a real chance to slide a couple of spots and away we go - get our "next best" player in the draft plus a...

    Unofficial Preview 2020 Draft Discussion

That is a worry in itself. The AFL's mystery compo formula can be re-written/adjusted (effectively the $/years triggers will be reduced), which may just fall magically in with where Crouch's potential new deal lands.

Really happy with Cousins! Very promising.

    Preview Round 14, 2020: Hawthorn v Essendon, 27 August 2020, 4.40pm @ Adelaide Oval

I’d say the Cegs inclusion is a way for Big Boy to be rested (to a degree) without him be excluded from the match all together. He did a hell of a lot against the Power. Where he rests will be interesting – please be forward!!

Preview Round 13 Changes : Hawks v Power

JOM with a fractured hand - that was one tough/impressive performance against the Eagles when you put that into the mix also. Captain material.

Game Day Round 12, 2020: West Coast Eagles v Hawthorn, Sunday 6.10 PM (AEST)

Interesting Worps 100% game time. Noticed him resting up forward at one point. Maybe a role change incoming there with a bit more time forward for Worps. Don't mind it.

Pressure is good! Inside 50 entries not great again.

Fingers crossed then. I've seen the AFL do stranger things over the years when it comes to compo picks!

I'm not close to this sort of thing but aren't the Crows a chance for no.2 pick too as compo for someone like Crouch? I suppose even if that is the case they wouldn't use both picks on kpf?

Oppo Camp General AFL and other clubs discussion thread. **Opposition fans not welcome** Part 6

There was just a mention of Buddy maybe missing the rest of the season. No good for him obviously but take some enjoyment out of the Swans not getting a return on investment this year. For those more in the know than I am, what's his current contract position (i.e years left and guesstimate on...
