    Preview Round 21, 2021: Hawthorn v Collingwood 2:10pm 8th Aug @ UTAS

Lewis has no concussion symptoms. Pretty sure he is playing this week. Hanrahan and Morrison for Breust and Greaves.

Oppo Camp General AFL and other clubs discussion thread. **Opposition fans not welcome** Part 6

Had we beaten Freo twice this season (hardly an achievement in itself) we would be right in the mix for top 8. In a way glad Sicily and Gunston have been absent as I reckon we would have won 2 or 3 games, ended up in no man’s land and compromised what will be a great national draft hand for us.

Autopsy Round 20, 2021: Hawks roll the Lions

A lot of bone crunching tackles and a hell of a lot of hurt and hunt the opposition but not enough polish and class offensively at this stage. Nash was awesome today. Going to be fun watching his midfield development. More run and carry (has explosive speed) and tidy up his foot disposal and the...

    Preview Round 19, 2021: Adelaide v Hawthorn, 24 July 2021, 7.40pm @ Marvel Stadium

Like a semi final for the Crows. The big one is in 4 weeks against the Kangas although the Horne Cup may be unwinnable.

    Prediction Round 1 2022 Team

I completely forgot about him. There is always one. He is clearly best 22 right now but come round 1 next year with a whole list to choose from he isn’t a walk up start.

Wouldn’t be disappointed if we ended up with something like pick 5 and grabbed Sinn. Still think he is a perfect fit for us. With the 3 ins we should beat the Crows, especially if the intensity is anywhere near last weeks.

Rachele a possible slider. Would love him with one of our early 2nd rounders or trade for the Bulldogs 1st (Pick 21 and 56 for 17 as it currently stands) and nab him there.

Universal Love Welcome to Hawthorn, Denver Grainger-Barras - #6 2020 National draft

Day moves and plays more like Whitfield and nothing like Simpson. They don’t even kick on the same foot. It is not a judgement on ability or talent just characteristic traits.

Universal Love Welcome to Hawthorn, Denver Grainger-Barras - #6 2020 National draft

It is a player comparison based on characteristic traits/style of play, that is all.

Universal Love Welcome to Hawthorn, Denver Grainger-Barras - #6 2020 National draft

Past and present player comparisons is the easiest way to help identify/analyse draft prospects. Day/Whitfield comparisons are spot on. Both players are lightly built, similar height, quick, agile and skilful, dual sided and like to run, carry and take the game on. DGB is a cross between Andrews...

List Mgmt. List Management Discussion for 2021

Just an example. Brisbane don’t have a 2nd rounder this year anyway. We won’t get much for Cegs at his age anyway. We probably need him for cover next year anyway especially with Brooksby most likely being delisted. Max Lynch coming in may change that.

List Mgmt. List Management Discussion for 2021

A late 2 rounder this year (maybe Brisbane’s) for our 3rd rounder next year would be a good and fair trade.

List Mgmt. List Management Discussion for 2021

No disrespect to Pup but he is getting more fumbly and dump kicking more. I personally think he should retire still playing good football instead of playing on next year and possibly finishing his career at Box Hill. An integral and massively underrated part of our 3peat but it’s time to...

    Preview Round 19, 2021: Adelaide v Hawthorn, 24 July 2021, 7.40pm @ Marvel Stadium

With Horne looking unlikely it doesn’t matter if we win a couple and lose a spot or 2 in the draft order. Other than the obvious 3 (Horne, Daicos and Darcy) picks 2-5 will be all be in the eye of the recruiters anyway.

List Mgmt. List Management Discussion for 2021

Retire: Burgoyne, Shiels? Delist: Brooksby, Hartley, Nash and Pepper. Trade, delist or retain as depth: Hanrahan, Greaves and Ceglar. Trade or retain as depth: Howe, O’Brien and Cousins. Not best 22 at full strength. One more year: Morris, Maginness.
