I am considering ditching my Treloar stock which I've loyally held since R1. Bulldogs have Lions, Swans and Cats away in their next 4 which doesn't fill me with confidence given he's just trundling along at the moment.
Could shift him to my arch nemesis Preuss this week (via DC to FWDs) and...
2297 despite sticking the C on my third worst player (Brayshaw).
My team is actually half decent when I don't cop 4 injuries in a week. I'll enjoy it while it lasts 😆
I think durability in general is underrated in Fantasy. I think it's worth paying top whack for an Oliver/Crisp from the start, knowing they are more thank likely to play every week, rather than try to get value in every position by picking blokes who are under-priced (usually due to games...
Butters the king of in-game injuries that ruin his scoring but somehow aren't serious so he's back a week later - to be injured in-game again. Bloke is a deadset masochist.
Preuss - English
Butters - Laird
Wehr to fill in at D6 for a week whilst Daicos pumps out another ton no doubt.
Had a look over my post-bye team and there have only been two reasonably low-ownership premo trade-ins that I've nailed all year - Dawson in Round 3 and Darcy Cameron in Round 9...
1823, 1875, 1656.
Up 400 spots to 1,300s.
In: Walsh, Merrett, Miller (all pretty disappointing)
In then out again: Mitchell, Preuss
Out: Keays (at least I got that one right), Gawn, Zorko, Butters
So many injuries and 'premos' scoring 90s...
That's really quite an achievement to get suspended during a game where you were subbed off injured in the first quarter. Toby Greene must be doffing his cap to the elite s**t-housery, and Whitfield to the high-level trolling of his Fantasy owners.
1656. Teakle didn't matter in the end with Parnell randomly being a gun in game 2. Robbed of 120 points with Butters and Preuss though. Laird the must have this week.
I'm in the same boat mate, have ridden the bumps through the byes and was eyeing off 17 decent scores this week and then no rooks on ground next week.
Then copping Butters, Preuss and Teakle all with first half injuries in one day is just too brutal.
You'd be rewarded for the most basic play...
I would keep Petracca (I am sneaky looking at him for post R15-trades), he'll bounce back. Would 100% move on Mitchell before Daicos as he is nowhere near the Top 8 mids, and it will only cost you $100K to get him to an uber.
Daicos playing half-back is killing it, in better form than Short...
Gawn - Preuss, running it back Round 3 style again
Mitchell - Miller who gets the C this week
Zorko - Teakle
Gives me 21 on field this week inc. 14 Premos, whatever Butters is and 6 rookies, so hopefully I can get 3 decent scores out of them.
$600K in the bank for next week to do Butters -...
Stewart a must-have given that ridiculous ceiling he has when teams don't man him up. Hopefully he drops some coin this week with high BE and I can grab him next week.
Started G&G. Went Gawn - Preuss in like R3 as a restructure, then Grundy - Gawn when Grundy went down, then Preuss out last week, now could legit do Gawn - Preuss again this week. So much for set and forget
