we sent a search party out weeks ago looking for value defenders - they are yet to report back with positive news

problem is the benchmark for defenders has gone up since his best years average (just over 100) from the compromised 2020 year. I started him last year but he was swiftly given the arse after rd 2.

he has pretty much been best 22 when fit since his 2nd year. Played the EF as his first game back from injury so has had a full pre-season he was used by Bevo to do specific "jobs" - I think there is a good chance he plays half forward with roles on play making halfbacks bit hard to leave out...

this team is giving me lots of food for thought; you are structured very differently to me. Excluding the rucks and rookies we only have 5 common players. I think the range of options between $500-550k across all lines is going to mean we see a lot of different teams, both player and structure...

yes had minimal CBS's for the first 4 or 5 rounds - similar the previous year too - so there is a little upside. from R6 onwards he would have had the highest % of CBAs, slightly more than Macrae at a glance has had 2 knee reco's. - is Bevo trying to lighten his load by playing him forward...
