Ben actually didn't play half back at all. Spent the first half almost exclusively on-ball and the 2nd half almost exclusively on the wing. Lucas played mainly wing and high half forward.

That's true. I think multiple clubs being in the picture helps Dow in terms of his contract value not us. He will choose a club and we will negotiate with that club whilst the other moves on. Hopefully he picks Sydney as SOS will give us stuff all.

I actually think he would be an upgrade on Hipwood though I suspect they play both with Hippy being the 3rd tall. Might do better without a key defender on him.

It's not a bad strategy. Every year there are a group of 8-12 players clear of the rest. If you cant get up into group you are better off getting multiple bites of the apple in the top 35 then a single late first.

Watson over Dursma every day of the week. Find it easier to see how he translates at afl level and exactly what we need. Hopes aren't very high but could see him falling to around 10 which gives us a chance depending on how many eggs we want to place in that basket (tradewise)

I don't think anyone thinks Cunners is one paced. Athletically he is exactly what we need. Issue is he often doesn't get to use his pace because he struggles to get involved in the play. He looked much better early in our winning streak so hopefully he just tired out by the end of the season...
