100% Zacstars, I hope that Wattle Park do well in D2. Also they are out of the bottom grade which isn't always as easy as it looks. Canterbury should not have been asked the question by the VAFA though in my opinion.

It sure is, it's bloody hard getting out of the bottom grades and they were gifted a golden opportunity to do so. No guarantee of a flag either, all it takes is for a side to recruit really well and who knows. When it boils down though they should not of had a say in it.

We all know about the 4 games qualification but not the other so well done you then, although your club AP have had a few double up over the years so probably explains it ;)

Not if you are unaware of this rule though, did you know this rule applied ? It doesn't seem deliberate to me, I always thought that if you doubled up it was okay and these were added to your games tally?

It appears so billyboi, I feel for your club as I don't think this is a case of blatant cheating. Surely there is a way of finding this out when team lists are input before the game rather than after ?

This story has been confirmed to me and FWIW I don't think they should be punished to that extent of missing a grand final, surely a fine would have been appropriate in this circumstance ? By the way how many club officials would be aware of this rule ?

Johnny I'm not sure which club you are with but how do you think your club would go in the Sfnl ? What are the pro's and cons for them moving ? FWIW I think moving to these other leagues is a no brainer for most D4 sides for the exact reasons you have mentioned previously.
