If only that were true.....
I read a headline this year that a star AFL player had died. Turns out he had played a couple of hundred country football game, almost all of them in the 2's.
"Football Star does something"
They could have sat on the bench in their only game playing under 8's in 1996, and News Limited will lead with the "AFL Star" crap for clicks.
Mal was really only famous for an all-in brawl where he cleaned up a few blokes. His dickhead son somehow thinks that made him tough also.
I remember Cambell mouthing off after the Hawthorne game saying that he was going to get Matthew Llyod next time - well Champ, you had half a game to do it...

And Naming pretty much the only key forwards in history to play at that age is a bit deceptive - maybe name the other few hundred that didn't make it past 32.
What were...
How did it cut his career short? He came back and played 3 more years, retiring at 32 - which is pretty old for an AFL player.
Missed potentially 18 games in his late 20's, so if all goes well might have played 300.

Geez, you're the biggest sook on this site. Even when your team wins a grand final you still have to come on here sooking in every thread. Grow up, or go find a hobby that doesn't make you sook.
