Haha. That's the way it worked out, even if it's not the reasoning. Basically, it's 2 points for taking 9 wickets in the 1st 100 overs of the opposition team + .01 for every run over 200 in your own innings.
Agree when teams are making 400+ in their 1st innings, but it kinda doesn't seem right in a tight scoring match like this. Hence why I think if they halved it to 1 point, it would've been a better compromise. Still 6 points for the outright, no matter who gets 1st innings lead.
