The other West Indian that played till possibly later than either of them that never wore a grille was Sherwin Campbell.

Considering the way Bichel batted against New Zealand and England in 2003, yes.

Whilst I agree with you that Bracken is a better bowler in ODI cricket than Bichel, I think you may have overlooked Bichel's ability with the bat, which is far greater than Bracken's.
Looking at that twitter attatchment, I notice they have Craig McDermott listed at number 4 in the batting line up for the 1987 team. Surely that is a mistake?
Hadn't seen a thread for this yet. Frankly thought it was worthy of one. Feel free to discuss. Likewise, there are plenty of other videos worthy of being posted. Feel free to post them as well.
Great post. In all likelihood Steve Waugh would have come back for the final test regardless of whether Martyn got us home or not. Failing in the First Test probably didn't help matters.
Despite that, it is obvious he was scapegoated because of that test. Losing 9/60 to lose is on the whole...
2 names come to mind for me. Stuart Law and Michael Di Venuto. Great first class cricketers who should have played much more test cricket. Also, second the poster that mentioned Martin Love.
