I’m amazed at how little scrutiny is given to Starcevich. At times against Carlton he was standing on his own, guarding space it would seem.
IMHO it’s probably time to look at alternatives.
As for the pre-season suggestion of a move to the midfield, that’s just fanciful.
Well done Windies.
Go and eat humble pie, you arrogant, entitled mob of Aus cricketers.
No, humble doesn’t suit their narrative.
Very quick to forget the pasting from Stokes and others, not that long ago.
Re Blake Coleman, drafted at 24 in 2020, matching Collingwood’s bid (????), he had 3 pre-seasons to get himself fit. I’m not aware of an injury interrupting his pre-seasons. But it may have.
I always look at the vfl stats. Very rarely did Blake get to double figures in possessions this year...
Pardon the intrusion.
Congratulations on the signing. He was treated shamefully at Melbourne and will lead your team up and up.
But let us win the 2024 flag, then you can win the next one.
Yep, could have got Zac, except he was always going to the Dons where his brother was.
It’s a shame Ben Lennon was taken by the Tigs at 12 in the same draft, because he would have been handy as.
I’m in awe at the scores above!
I’m lucky to complete one without a brain fade, forgetting to consider the other column.
Best recent effort was Ralph Rogerson, Fitzroy captain for a year. Unique when I did the puzzle.
The usual Fagan denialist attitude.
Was happy to answer a question about Eric, said the criticism of him had been unfair.
Next question was on Dev. Fages said he wouldn’t comment on individual players.
Says it all really

I have zero sympathy for Ablett, Jarman, and their ilk.
They were handsomely rewarded for what they did, a game they played voluntarily. It was a game that involved physical contact. Unfortunately some went on and did a bit of boxing in what can only be described as monumentally poor decision...
Pardon the intrusion.
I had brief dealings with John when he was a publican in Hobart; a nicer, more down to earth bloke you wouldn’t meet.
Than, after a stint in Parliament, he gave up his seat because he felt he wasn’t contributing much. Honest man.
Yes, a great achievement.
However, you’d have to admit that you were fortunate to beat Richmond during your run.
I fear that the tigers are mentally tougher than all of us, per Kennett.
