Grigg is very athletic, moves well, has good pace and can find plenty of the ball however he has to learn to hurt the opposition more with his disposal and has to develop a harder edge to his game he tends to spectate when there is a scrap for the ball instead of putting his body on the line he...
Marc Murphy (Oakleigh Chargers)
[This profile was written before I found out Carlton had apparently committed to him some weeks ago so he will presumably go #1 at the draft but I don't rate him as highly as that. I think a fair price would probably have been in the 6-10 range].
179/75...

I think the TAC Competition should be turned into a Under 19 competition giving the kids that may have finished their VCE the year before another year of development in the TAC system without the distraction of school work and school football. They then can concentrate on their football and...
The main difference between the two is that Casserley is a beautiful long kick and regularly hits his targets (took the kickouts for the Seniors and got 60 metres very easily). Where as Swallow is not the best kick going around and lacks consistency in hitting his targets. The scope with...
Very happy with Jones,Bartram and Neville all have a touch of pace, are tough and run hard. Not a fan of Buckley at all agree with Weaver's comments he is an athlete not a footballer. Cant believe Melbourne and the rest of the competition overlooked Luke McEntee young developing ruckman who has...
McKinley's Draft Camp was poor, his skinfolds, 20m sprint and his endurance were all below average plus he is a 183.9cm Full Forward very hard to make it in the AFL at that size at Full Forward. Could he play midfield or even on a half forward flank or forward pocket that is the question IMO he...
That's right footyman but IMO the club has a lot of faith in Dunn and Newton thats why they will target midfielders as priority one in this draft with #12.
My Top 5 for Dees pick at #12
Andrew Swallow is the guy to take at 12 if he is available he has two things the Demons midfield needs Pace to break the lines and take the ball away from the congestion and Hardness around the ball. His kick can be fixed and should not present any problems I...
Demons
12- Andrew Swallow -Explosive pace ,hardness and fantastic ball winning ability exactly what the Dees need.
Very hard to say what could be left but hoping for
53- Sam Lonergan
60- Matt Riggio
Yes there is Wayde Mills KP from Queensland 196 88 as you mentioned and the other one is Brennen Mills from Claremont 179 75 midfielder who did his knee at the Under 18 Champs in 2004 but made a successful return mid year and is still a chance to get drafted or at least rookied.
'Inside ability and willingness to carry the ball' It's all well and good doing it at TAC level but could he do it at AFL level?? i have my doubts. He will be a very capable BP or HBF in the AFL imo similar to a Nathan Brown of Melbourne or Troy Makepeace of North. Yes he is a excellent...
In the AFL, I can see him as a back pocket and not as a midfielder. He has good speed and can win a lot of ball but his (180,70) body size and inability to hurt the opposition with the footy make me question whether he could play an offensive role in the midfield in the AFL .
Couple of more guesses
Swan Districts- Justin Simpson ,Brynn Francis, Daniel O'Reilly
Perth- Kane Ransted, Nick Hubble
Claremont- Danny Griffths
East Perth- Chris Monterosso
South Fremantle- Scott Delemenico, Justin Hill, Morgan Cooper, Jarrod Ninyette
Subiaco- Matt Virgo
Harry Taylor would be the smoky. He has very good skills, played about 10 senior games and twice was nearly best on ground and he dominated at reserve level playing in the midfield and up forward. Been a bit of interest in him from the clubs. I would definitely consider him for a rookie spot.
Cathal Corr (Northern) Super competitive hard at it midfielder with pace
Tyson Goldsack (Gippsland) Lanky Agile Tall Forward lot of scope
Ed Barlow (Oakleigh) Athletic Tall wingmen can get a lot of the ball
Jarrod Silvestor (Coburg) Athletic Versatile Tall
