Autopsy Freo beat Sydney plus 3 - Rd 10, 2021

Mistake was probably made because fiancée is the spelling for a female partner. Fiancé would be the appropriate spelling for a male

    Women's Footy AFLW Fremantle - 2020 #1 Team - Season Cancelled

I went down to see East Freo vs Claremont and it was a real pleasure to watch Seth and O'Sullivan play. Compared with the rest of the players on field O'Sullivan really worked hard to try and create good attacking options and looked to play on at all opportunities. Philipa Seth was all class...

    Injury Fremantle 2020 Injury Thread

Just to add to what you're saying, my memory of our injury woes go back to 2011. In Harvey's last game as coach he could only just field a team.

AFLW Round 3 Fremantle Vs Collingwood, Fremantle Oval. Saturday 16 Feb 2019, 4:15pm (AWST)

Fig tree shade area definitely a good place to go, although the crowds will be bigger there. Just avoid the south eastern side as you will get roasted if there is any sun and the concrete heats up loads too

    2018 non-freo nonsense (aka discussion)

For mine, the sign that the expansion into the Gold Coast has failed as a means of attracting supporters and potentially players is the fact that they were allowed to sell games to us and to China as well as FNQ. Add to that the game they played in Ballarat and they probably play one in Tassie...

    2018 non-freo nonsense (aka discussion)

The one that I don't understand was Dangerfield driving Westhoff head first in the ground whilst having him in a head lock. How is that only worth a fine?

    Women's Footy AFLW Fremantle - 2020 #1 Team - Season Cancelled

When things aren't going our way, none of our forwards really step up. They don't have to be as good as Phillips, but just someone to consistently make a contest. In the last 5 mins I thought it may have been worth throwing Janz forward, at least she consistently forward a contest and wasn't...

    Women's Footy AFLW Fremantle - 2020 #1 Team - Season Cancelled

Went with the family today, had a great time New stadium The sun seemed like it may be a problem, there were a few blocks in direct sun that were almost entirely vacant for the whole day and from where I was sitting in block 305 the sun was in my eyes in the 4th quarter, would advise a hat and...

    Women's Footy AFLW Fremantle - 2020 #1 Team - Season Cancelled

Even if it's 'not a threat' this has got to be one of the worst things I've heard about in football, fancy trying to encourage teams not to play a game style they thing would win. AFL HQ seem to be seriously out of touch with comments like those and the AFLX concept (certainly the silver balls...

Autopsy Heartbreaking loss to St Kilda

One thing I'm confused (or unsure) about. The knee that Big Darcy copped to the face in the ruck contest, how was that not a free kick for high contact? I mean a marking contest is totally different, but Sandilands got suspended for an accidental head clash in a ruck contest and there are often...

No Oppo Supporters The Melt Thread

As a disclaimer, I am basing this only on gut feel so I want to hear none of your stats or evidence that prove me wrong. What else is the melt thread for :D Why don't our players seem to run. We have brought in 4 players 2 lead up forwards, one pacing winger and a full back who also has a turn...

    Training 2017 - Preseason Training

Slightly off the topic of your discussion but I genuinely thought Croziers disposal from the backline was pretty good. Certainly more creative than the others. I don't know why we didn't keep him back there

    List Mgmt. The KPP thread

Western Bulldogs supporters on big footy seem to think Hamling went ok in the VFL up forward but was a massive liability at AFL level, he was also delisted by Geelong after not making it as a forward. I'm not sure he'll ever be anything but a defender (which is not a problem at all)

    Toast Trade Masters

seems baffling that we've been playing sutcliffe and sheridan in the backline when they've been clearly much better up the ground whilst playing crozier in the forward line when he's been much better back behind the forward 50. But I digress

Secondary Thinking about becoming a teacher

Hey mate, I'm considering a bit of a career change at the moment and am thinking of doing the same course as you at UNE. What was the course actually like? Is it well taught and such? I'd be doing mine from WA.

Game Day Mighty Bulldogs obliterate the Jack Darling comedy troupe

I'm convinced that these backwards switches unless its to move the ball quickly is only giving teams a chance to turn the ball over closer to goal

List Mgmt. 2016 Draft, Trading and Free Agency Thread

We can essentially keep going till quite deep in the draft (where most clubs basically just stop taking picks or use them to upgrade rookies) the problem is that obviously the players are much lower rated.

    Analysis What's Actually wrong?

Our players all seem to get sucked to the ball under 11's style. Whether its everyone going up for a marking contest in defence leaving their opponents to pick off the easy crumbs, all going in for the one tackle allowing 5+ players to be eliminated by one handball, or coming too close to a...

    Peel Thunder - 2016

I think the post was more suggesting that Clarke looks like he's playing injured. I think clearly he's not 100% and hasn't been since he did his knee. He's obviously capable of winning the ruck in the WAFL as you suggest, but his knee problems seem to be a real issue and I'd much rather see him...

The curious case of Chris Mayne.

Where is Crozier at the moment though, I know he was concussed this week, but he didn't play a single preseason match despite being fit. Played one, ok-ish WAFL match. I'd love to see a guy with his skill set in the team, but at this point I'm not sure if we'll ever see him play for us again.

Autopsy It's All About the Future - Port d Peel Thunder by 69, r23, AO

I was quite impressed by Deboer's run and carry, and also his disposal during the match. He didn't seem as hesitant as he has done in recent times.

Analysis Peel Thunder 2015 (TV schedule in OP)

Clarke seemed to slip over and cop an accidental knee to the head from a Perth player. The seizure looked awful, but the Peel players really looked after him well before the medical staff could arrive. Really glad he's ok
