Pretty much all kids (except the few exceptional ones) have a good first game and then drop off in their second. Backing up can be very difficult. Having your second game as a midfielder, away against the best midfield in the competition is a pretty tough ask. To be dropped after that? Ridiculous. -

I'm no fan of Laird and his blatant stat padding asd we all moan about his kicking and how he slows us down, BUT is he actually just playing to the game plan? Hold the ball. Wait until there is a pack of 100 people ahead, bomb the ball up and hope. It's what he does, but also what Nicks wants. -

I never said they did. We are however, massively missing Keane's creative kicking out of defence. Especially from a point. We are stuck with players who aren't capable of making difficult kicks and so we end up going long to a contest. Every. Single. Time. -
