Not really. Last dropped points dont mean anything. Why is losing to Everton different than losing to Palace? Zero difference. We lost the league over the course of the season when the results we got werent as good as Man City's.
I dont understand why we are "managing" Harley Reid this weekend? He's 19? Let the kid ******* play.
If we were to be managing anyone, surely it would be one of the older blokes like Yeo who has a history of injuries and is 30.
I also turned it off immediately haha
I reckon the Klopp leaving announcement really didnt help us all told. Too much pressure on the lads to do it for him sort of thing.
I knew we were losing after 3-4 mins. Merseyside Derby! In the middle of a title race! Everything on the line and where is the blood and thunder and the passion. We just walking arpund the pitch passing it backwards and sideways. I knew after 5 mins we were in trouble.
We've been awful again but Everton stull lucky to have scored. Bullshit free kick which leads to 70 deflections and in.
As usual when weve gotten a big chance, weve wasted it.
I dont think we turn this around and it will end our title challenge as we'd need Arsenal and Coty to drop point in...
Geez the only two forward that have looked in any kind of form both out. Unless we kick back into gear, you wonder where the goals will come as Everton will sit deep.
It's going to be a massive downgrade.
I keep thinking of the players and how difficult it will be for them to go from someone like Klopp to taking instructions from someone like Slot.
I honestly dont think it matters who comes in next. This is a SAF situation, whoever comes in is never gonna...
Give it to me! I'll do it for 20k a week. Save the club heaps of money to buy better players. Then ill just try to imitate Klopp's tactics and hope for the best!
Yeah we had won a game to take us out of last and I was actually so annoyed. People can say, you should go for the win every time and whilst I agree, it was frustrating because of the two years of s**t we had gone through, at least we can have some reward with Harley Reid.
Sure we won a game...
Think we can finish above Arsenal, they have some tough remaining fixtures where they may drop points.
City just wont drop points though, they never do when in this position. But I will pray to 6 pound 4 ounce baby football jesus for such a miracle.
None of the refs would come out and say they support Liverpool or United or Arsenal etc for fear of not being able to officiate the big games.
Was pretty obvious Howard Webb was a United fan though.
I really do think we'd be in a much better position to win the league if Jota hadnt been injured the last 6 weeks or so. All those chances we were creating, he would have tucked away a few to secure points.
