I think that Clayton's summer has been a high-profile disaster, so without him getting a strike the AFL have informed the MFC that they reserve the right to step in and impose a suspension or other conditions at their discretion. And I'd say that the MFC have agreed to play along. Or something...
Hard to disagree with too much of this.
Can only hope that a couple of established youngsters take really big steps up (Rivers, Roo, Bowey, Sparrow), a couple of players on the slide in '23 reverse that trend (Langdon, Salem) and a couple of young bolters have a greater impact than we...
That's distressing mate and no need to apologise - if you've seen it firsthand or on good authority, then that's a valid concern. Is gambling/pokies his number one vice?
But which parts of his issues have been for years and which are new and which are true and which are false, and which did the club know about and which didn't they, and the ones they did know about when did they know and what have they learnt recently? Can somebody who actually knows the ins and...
I just think that unless there are any insiders lurking on the board and posting real life truths, there's so much rumour and guesswork and assumption happening here that we're speculating on very little.
For example, and not all encompassing:
We assume Clayton has a drug addiction. Some say...
Interesting to see Sam Van Rooyen is training with Freo in the hopes of being picked up

Interesting to see Disco, Howes, Woey & Laurie all get written up in the HS & Age as players expected to break through.
Who drops out and can this be done while staying in the window?
Geez there's a fair bit of (a) abandoning a bloke pretty ******* quickly when clearly, self-induced or not, he's not in a good way and (b) forgetting how critical he was in helping us end a 57 year Premiership drought. He has been an excellent player for our club.
I know i'll get told I'm a...
This slid under the radar a little:
The Demons will aim to improve on their AFL attack in 2024 by adding more to Troy Chaplin’s plate and putting him in charge of transition attack, as well as defence, in a bid to move the ball quickly and put up bigger scores.
The Dees managed just 16 goals...
This bit made me LOL a little. 'As early as 2028'. Just in time for Nathan Jones' children to be drafted.
Agree with all. Will get excited when construction begins.
There are so many great posters on here. Clever, thoughtful, funny, sometimes right, sometimes wrong. Then old mate who just whacks opinions with a sledgehammer because he lacks the composure or intelligence to actually articulate an argument or consider the responses of others and genuinely...
That's a fair assessment. I guess my hope is that with McAdam in, and Petty back, we have a stronger pool to pick from. As an example, McAdam as player 20-24 is a step up from Smith as player 20-24 in my opinion
