When we're bad we are disinterested, when we're good, god, we are exciting.

Like Chol in the ruck. Strong tackle.

Can quickly size up an opportunity. If he can learn from Breust positioning he could be a handy player.

You back yourself to support players and in turn hope they will stay on. If Brockman had chosen to stay it would have been the best outcome for Hawthorn. He has chosen not to we move on, no crystal balls in list management.

I feel a lot are underestimating Sinn on here. Some groin trouble in his early years won't mean he cant make it. Elite pace, decent endurance and skills. As good a prospect as most the draft.

Autopsy Round 21, 2023 : Hawks roast the Pies

Definitely. Kosi getting time in the ruck keeps him engaged. Lewis seems to have gained a yard this year, looks better and better getting up the ground. Sticks is a strange find, he is going to be an annoying matchup, that pickup from the punky cross should be illegal for a 2m player.

Autopsy Round 21, 2023 : Hawks roast the Pies

Just quietly. How good is our midfield? Young, strong and deceptively quick. The balance is just about right with some more class to come in over the next few seasons. So glad Sam ripped the band-aid off at the end of last year.

Sicily > Moore Our Midfield > thiers Our Effort > thiers Breust > all small forwards, ever.

Autopsy Round 19, 2023 : Hawks can’t get it done against Tigers

Dissapointing after playing such an exciting brand of footy. I reckon opposition would be looking at today and thinking we are on the rise and will be contenders in the next 2-3 years. Exciting times ahead.

3 + Brockman for pick 1? Is the Harley hype too strong? I rate Brockman, devasting if reports are true but can understand it, only father in our side and a long way from family support.

Autopsy Round 13, 2023 : Hawthorn mauls Brisbane

Exceptional game. Brockman is going to be elite. He is gaining a little confidence in his speed, not many can keep up with him. Glad the club doesn't listen to idiots like me, I didn't think Lewis had the pace to make it a few seasons ago. He may not be much quicker but his work rate makes it a...

Autopsy Round 12, 2023 : Hawks on smoko for the first half.

Glad to see Breust torch Burton. Kids kept at it. Lack of leadership in the first half was disappointing. Our midfield excels against traditional inside mids but the sheer pace of Port with silver service from Lycett was a worry. As terrible as the first half was I felt if we could have broken...

Does it get better than that?

Autopsy Round 2, 2022: Hawks disconnect the power

We only seem to attempt the backwards 45 degree cross in the D50 now. Once out of there it's been rare to see a backwards kick across the first to games. So much better to watch and forces the opposition to run hard in defence. I reckon our back 6 has been tremendous in allowing such freewheeling.

    Mitchell Lewis. I was wrong.

Autopsy Round 23, 2021: Hawks draw with Tigers - end of an era!

Nash, Newcombe and Chad would have been better. We have been surprisingly good on the spread when we have had that type of defensive pressure in close. Hopefully next year we put the names aside and pick players positions on balance. Sad to see Clarkson go. In a perfect world he would coach in...

I thought he must have called in the back. Dumbstruck it was against Chad. He doesn't get the rub of the green does he?
